Target Audience:
Orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals involved in the treatment of orthopedic patients.

Objectives:
Provide the knowledge and skills to:

  1. Improve decision-making and treatment proficiencies in the management of neck and back pain.
  2. Provide an awareness of new knowledge, skills, treatment options and operative techniques in spinal care.
  3. Explore the newest non-surgical and surgical strategies for the treatment of both traumatic and non-traumatic conditions of the spine.
  4. Recognize diagnostic indications and techniques in the evaluation of the spine.
  5. Increase knowledge of outcome s of both non-surgical and surgical treatments of the spine including the potential complications of spinal surgery.
  6. Encourage informal discussions and case controversies with experts in the field of spinal care and evidence-based medicine.
