OrthoCarolina Exploring Post
Physical therapy, sports medicine, orthopedics & research

What is Exploring?:
The program is called Exploring. It is for students in grades 9-12, and is designed to help you explore your interest and consider Physical Therapy, Orthopedics, or Sports Medicine as a career choice. Through the program, you will have an opportunity to meet, talk, and work with physical therapists, athletic trainers, orthopaedic surgeons, physician assistants, and research staff in a medical environment.

As an Explorer, you will learn important skills, such as team building, public speaking, and interviewing. You will also learn how to organize your time to accomplish tasks for school and for extracurricular activities. Ask your school guidance counselor about Exploring, or check out our website at www.learning-for-life.org. Click on the Exploring icon for more information.
