The OrthoCarolina Research Institute (OCRI) offers a wide range of services to conduct a variety of studies, including pre-market drug, device, and biologics trials, as well as basic science, translational, and outcomes research. OCRI offers on-site advanced imaging, and with the staff’s phlebotomy skills, sample processing skills, and equipment, we successfully work with local and national labs to obtain a number of medical tests. Additionally, OCRI is able to store product and samples in -20C and -80C freezers that both have digital temperature logs. Our local hospitals have research pharmacists that work with us to safely dispense and track research pharmaceuticals.
OCRI has the ability to take an idea from conception to publication. We collaborate with local scientists to conduct basic science research and have access to a wide array of scientific labs including bioengineering, biomechanical, histology, and orthopedic biology, which houses a vivarium. We offer regulatory oversight, data management, advanced statistical design, and analysis services, as well as medical writing and presentation services. Additionally, we are experienced with not just participating in, but also managing multi-center studies with other research centers across the globe.
